Destello Cava Brut Reserva - Catalonia Spain - $8.25

Fresh scents of apple and pear on the nose. Crisp orchard fruits and a lively sense of minerality flow seamlessly to the creamy finish. Cool temperatures, diverse soils, and sustainable farming techniques all contribute to the cultivation of the indigenous white grapes used to produce this fresh bubbly. Produced using the traditional méthode champenoise, Destello Cava was aged for 18 months in bottle giving the wine character. The versatile flavor profile will appeal to a larger audience and can be paired with a wide array of cuisine.

Alverdi Pinot Grigio - 2019 -Terre degli Osci-$9.25

A fresh, floral bouquet with notes of acacia flowers, this dry white wine is well-balanced with lively white fruit flavors. Harvested from Italy’s premier regions for the cultivation of Pinot Grigio, the grapes are vinified in stainless steel and released soon after the vintage to preserve the integrity of the fruit and maintain the naturally fresh character of the variety. Alverdi Pinot Grigio is an excellent aperitif.

Rk Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt Riesling $9.75

First impressions on the nose show this to be a classic Mosel Riesling, with noticeable hints of the fine lees as well as wet slate, white peach, mirabelle and red apple. Mineral freshness on the palate, with palpable but balanced acidity, a reprise of the aromas on the nose, and a refreshing touch of pomelo rounding things off.

Aimé Roquesante’s distinctive character is nurtured at the heart of the vineyard, in the calm serenity of its peaceful surroundings and with unrivaled skill. Pale salmon color, with silver highlights Powerful nose, with crushed strawberry and citrus fruit aromas. Ample, rich, with flavors of red fruit supported by a light acidity. 

Julia James Pinot Noir $12- 2019 - California

Deep plum in color, with bright ruby edges. Rich yet medium-bodied, offering an exciting bouquet of berry, oak, earth and spice notes, with bold streaks of blueberry, raspberry, mocha and floral flavors. Finishes with an aftertaste of fresh licorice and cherries. 

Rèsonance Pinot Noir $16 -Willamette Valley

The wine reflects a bright ruby color. The nose is very fresh and fruity, with a lot of red (strawberry, raspberry) and black fruits ( wild cherry, blackberry), enhanced by subtle floral and spicy aromas. Elegance and harmony describe precisely the palate. Tannins are present and fine, while the acidity brings a nice freshness, particularly long.

Chateau La Gravièr $10-2018 -Bordeaux

Alhambra Malbec Reserva $11-2018 - Uco Valley

Hand harvested and selected, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks, where it is pumped-over, a process called "remontajes", in both open and closed (without air oxygen) tanks. Once the fermentation is complete, the wine sits on its skins for approximately 15 days. Later, 50% of the wine is relocated to barrels of new French (85%) and American (15%) oak; and other 50% is moved to stainless steel tanks.

The Finca Abril’s Single VIneyard wine represents their best Malbec grapes from an eleven acre vineyard that dates back to 1922. After two years in the cellar, the wine is aged in 100% new French oak and released only when it's ready.

Martin Ray Cabernet Sauvignon $12- 2018 - Napa Valley

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon notes with aromas of blackberry liquor, boysenberry, and anise with hints of pipe tobacco and exotic spices and a slight suggestion of spearmint. Flavors of the darkest fruits such as ultra ripe raspberry, black currant, dried black cherry, and blood plum with oak-derived notes of caramel, toasted coconut, and briarwood. Tight tannins create texture while a delicate thread of acidity maintains flavors well into the finish.

La Storia by Trentadue Cabernet Sauvignon -  2016 - Alexander Valley

La Storia Cabernet Sauvignon has a dense ruby-purple color followed by abundant varietal aromas and flavors of blueberries, blackberry and black licorice with hint of herbs and ripe olives. The predominately French oak aging contributes aromas of vanilla, cocoa dust and slight toast. The mouth feel is medium dense, fresh and juicy with balanced acidy and very soft tannins for a young wine. The alcohol content is balanced and the acidity is relatively high suggesting excellent longevity for this wine.

Tormaresca "Torcicoda"Primitivo $9.25 - 2013 - Salento Italy

Exhibits an intense ruby red color. The nose has fruity aromas of plums, and cherries fused with vanilla and chocolate. On the palate, the wine has a complex structure with good tannins and a spice note that continues long into the finish.

Corte Giona Amarone della Valpolicella $20 -2011- Valpolicella Italy

This beautiful wine is made of Corvina grapes, supplemented with Corvinone, Rondinella and other varieties of the territory. The largest part of the blend is aged in wood, while the rest is aged in steel.
This Amarone has a typical character. Solid texture with fresh tones. This wine has personality with elegance and depth. On the palate it is rich and deep, elegant and potent at the same time, still young but already very balanced, with the typical notes of currant and wild berries that blend well with the complexity of the wine.
A great elegant wine requires savoury dishes, such as game dishes, red meats and aged cheeses.
